Top Bank and Credit Card Bonuses, November 2023

Many of you have been asking me to share some recommendations for great credit card and bank bonuses so I’ve finally decided to do a small newsletter of my top picks.  I hope you’ll enjoy it and find it useful!

Here are six top deals right now:

Top Picks – Credit Cards

Remember, card offers change all the time so the best picks now, might soon change or be gone. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more specific recommendations!

Chase Ink Business Unlimited Card – $900 bonus

Do you have any side hustles such as selling on eBay or Mercari? Do you tutor?  Drive for UberEats or Doordash?  If so, you have a business and are eligible for this card!  And, of course, if you own a traditional business this is also the perfect choice.

This card offers an all time high bonus of $900 or 90,000 points.  The required spend is $6,000 in the first three months.  There is NO annual fee and this card earns 1.5 points per dollar. As a side bonus – this card also has an amazing introductory 0% interest rate for the first 12 months.   So, after your required minimum spending you’ll have 99,000 points or $990!  That’s 16.5% return on spending… Wow!

One note – Chase can be a bit picky and will only approve applications with 5 or fewer accounts opened in the last 24 months. They are fairly generous with bonuses and it’s pretty safe to get a new Chase card every 90 days.  They will even approve you for more than one Ink card (even the same one!) so this is a great card to add to your wallet.

Bank of America Premium Rewards – $600

This personal card has a minimum spend requirement of $4,000 in 90 days and carries a $95 annual fee.  It has a great bonus of $600 and also provides $100 in airline incidental credits that can be used for baggage and seat assignment fees as well as $100 for Global Entry or TSA precheck.

Barclays American Airlines Aviator Card – 75,000 miles

This is an amazing offer – there is no minimum spending required!  Simply make one purchase and receive 60,000. When you add an authorized user and they make a purchase you’ll receive another 15,000 for a total of 75,000 miles.  This card has a $99 annual fee.

Flights within the US start at 7,500 points one way.  In the past, we have flown to Japan for 80,000 round trip.  You can get tremendous value from these cards!

Chase IHG Premier Card – 4 free nights

This Chase card is great for vacation planning and the current sign-up bonus offers FOUR free nights when you spend $3000 in three months.  This card has a $99 annual fee and comes with a free night every year on your anniversary.  These are great cards for couples to get – with two you could book an eight night vacation and then have a great long weekend every year following your card member anniversary.

Top Picks – Bank Bonuses

How about some free cash before the holidays?  Many bank bonuses can require direct deposit or high deposits, but there are some that are also just great, easy deals!

Fidelity – $100

This great bonus requires VERY little work.  Just open a new account and deposit $50.  This bonus ENDS DECEMBER 11.  Don’t miss out on some easy free cash.

**Fidelity also offers a youth account for kids aged 13-17.  If you deposit $50, they’ll chip in an additional $50.

Wells Fargo Savings – $525

This one requires a large deposit of $25,000.  The best part is that it only requires keeping funds in the bank for 60 days so the ROI ends up being just over 10%!

These are just a few of the best bonuses available at the moment.  If you would like some personalized recommendations, please feel free to reach out.
