MyPoints, the shopping portal that offers points for your purchases, currently has an offer of 30,000 points worth $200 when you sign up for NorthOne bank.
This is a good deal and higher than it has been historically. The bonus was 16,500 points. I did this bonus at 16,500 points and found it very easy to complete. The points also posted quickly which was a nice surprise!
30,000 points are worth approximately $200 in rewards. You can redeem your points for a variety of gift cards. Most, but not all are around 15,000 for $100 in gift cards. If you search around, you can sometimes see some that are discounted.
If you’re not currently a MyPoints member, you can also receive a $10 referral bonus for signing up. Thanks so much for supporting this site!
From MyPoints, “NorthOne is a bank account that helps small businesses, startups, and freelancers to save time and money. They empower you to take control of your finances. Install the app, open an account and deposit $50 or more to earn 20,000 Points*!”
*Points will appear as Pending for 32 days. Must enter valid sign-up information, including credit card information to earn Points. Must sign-up and deposit $50 or more. Offer may only be redeemed once (1) per user.
One caveat is that this bank account carries a $10 monthly fee. But you might be able to avoid that for a bit – read on…
It’s not much, but I’ve had good luck getting the $10 monthly fee waived for three months by using the chat function in the app. Not a huge score but enough time for you to use the service and see if it’s a good fit for you.
